These 2 fields go together and the relationship between these 2 professionals is of the utmost importance, however we all know that there can be some conflicts everywhere. So, if you have decided to build such relationship, no matter you are the designer or the developer, here are some 10 things you should take into account to better work together.
1. Choose your partner wisely
When you choose a partner to collaborate with, the most important 2 things that you should consider are his/her character and skills. First of all, you need to choose a partner who has the character similar to yours, because it will be easier to interact with him/her and to understand him/her better. Secondly, you need to choose someone with the required skills. For example, if you choose someone, who will have no understanding of the code that you have designed, it is more than possible that there will be conflict between you. So, try to choose your partner wisely.
2. Communicate in a right way
In every designer-developer problem there is some sort of miscommunication and in every designer-developer healthy relationship there is a right communication. So, in order to succeed, try to enable open communication between you both.
3. Respect your partner
In order to respect each other, they should know that both their jobs are very difficult and no one is better than the other. For this purpose, designers should understand the basic concepts of developer’s job, such as variables and functions, JavaScript and developers should know the basic design principles.

Pairing makes these people to solve issues more easily, by providing each with an understanding of the roles of the other. It also makes them better communicators.
7. Share ideas

10. Learn compromising
When working on a project, one of the most important things is to compromise. There will be some situations, where you need to compromise in order to have a better result. Never think that by compromising you let your partner walk over you. All depends on your attitude, if you learn compromising in the right situations, everything will be just fine.
